Have you ever sat and thought about why people do the things they do? I'm a fairly easy person to get along with but once you cross me....  watch out. It takes a lot to make me mad and I normally don't say anything about other people's business to them. I only offer advice when asked. There is a time and place to say things to people. 

I'm having a hard time keeping my mouth shut this time. My great niece was to move to live with her father for a while. She left about 2 weeks ago and that is how long her time lasted with her father. He has done this to her repeatedly and has actually turned his back on two of his five children. He has been verbally and physically abusive in the past and when the kids go to visit him, it is unsettling to listen to the crap they say. 

For someone that no longer wants his ex in his life, he sure does talk crap about her and tries to turn the kids against her. She does a good enough job on her own, just like any other parent, but they don't need to hear his negative bull shit spewing out of his mouth. Thank goodness for my nephew for going to get her and get her to safety. 

My niece works hard and tries to provide all the children with their needs. The man at times decides he isn't going to pay his child support and doesn't. Both of my nieces have this problem. What is wrong with parents? Don't they realize that once they have a child they are to support them until they are able to get out in the real world and support themselves. 

This whole situation creates stress and hardship on the family. Thank goodness my niece is with her Auntie in Denver where she is safe.

I love my family more than I can say and to see the children hurt like this is maddening...
